Perhaps you can post how we can contact Ganz and let them know we purchased from you direct?

  3. Diana Says:

I’d be willing to email them and tell them I bought skads from you as well.

I bought a fair number of webkinz and webkinz clothes from you. You offered great service and did not try to stick us the consumers with higher prices as the toys became more popular and many other retailers raised prices. You are the only way I was able to afford my girls’ webkinz christmas wishes and instead of choosing one outfit they were able to receive several. I thank you for all you offered and I am very sorry that Ganz did this to you. I would be very willing to give them my purchase information. I have heard about all of the hoops Ganz puts retailers through just to carry webkinz and the lies they have told and the unreasonable demands. I can only say that with any luck, they have shot themselves in the foot. I know that I will never purchase any more Ganz merchandise. Although my kids still like webkinz, maybe I can convince them to switch to another line, there sure are a lot of others to choose from!

I have purchased lots and lots of webkins for my grandchildren, Some times I purchased 10 at a time. I was then limited as to how many I could get. I was saddened about that. I would be glad to supply my name, address and phone number to verify how trustworthy your boutique is. I chose to buy from you because I trusted you and still do. I am handicapped and it is hard to get out and shop.

I will encourage my former employer to join your battle against Webkinz. She too was a previous retailer, and after stocking her shelves with Webkinz for over two years, found herself ousted from Ganz because of the imposed add’l product purchase requirements, product shortages and delays, and failed promises of exclusivity. When we tried to launch our virtual business with an online gift store they refused to process orders knowing we would have the capability to sell Webkinz online. After so many restrictions imposed on us, my employer gave up on Ganz/Webkinz, and she too discovered a huge loss for in-store traffic, and eventually closed her store. I’ve bought several webkinz for my 4 yr old, and as a consumer, I love them for young children and up to 8-10 yrs of age. As a business professional and former retail manager, I find Ganz business practices to be deceptive. I would rather find another product to involve my children with, than continue to support Ganz’ ghestapo-inspired and greed fueled retail empire.
To the owner’s of Pamela’s Boutique, and other readers, another line I can suggest you look into are U.B. Funkeys. Although they are not fuzzy and cuddly like webkinz, my former employer and her children have discovered these toys to have a higher online entertainment value, especially for children ages 6-8 and older. Best wishes and good luck!

I too would be willing to give my information out to Ganz. I am sickened by these allegations as this has been the only place I had come to buy my Webkinz from. The service was wonderful but mostly the fact that I could count on the prices being the same. The fall of the Ty Beanies was the price increases by the suppliers that is the ultimate fall of the Beannie Babys. I am seeing the same pattern with the Webkinz. You can go to any retailer and they have all different prices for the Webkinz depending on whether its retired or not, new or older. No retailer of Ganz should sell there products this way. This has become the norm . It seems every honest retailer has gone under or stopped selling because of the problems listed above. I could ALWAYS count on Pamelas Boutique to give me the best service and the same pricing always. I didn’t have to worry about paying 6.00 more for a new Webkinz. I am considering not purchasing anymore of Ganz products.

I just think it is so funny that they will not sell their products to an Honest Company like Pamela’s. But yet what about the Hallmarks? They should of stopped selling to those companies a year ago!! I know for a FACT (on a few stores) the OWNERS/EMPLOYEES were taking these “Popular/Retired” webkinz before placing them on their shelves~~then putting them on a website which we all know called EBAY~~double, tripling etc. their money. That’s where all the webkinz went~~Hallmarks taking advantage of little kids~~shame on them. So for now on I will no longer purchase webkinz nor will I go into a Hallmark. It was funny how I would take my 2 girls into a Hallmark but the employee working would tell me only 1 per family (black lab) when I have 2 daughters that wanted it~~what was it so her employer would have them all to herself (put a few out then put the rest on Ebay).

I don’t even think that contacting Ganz would help, as I myself informed them, that Hallmark and other chain of stores were selling them on eBay and other places. They didn’t believe it.

Its sad really. Can you picture the looks on Ganz’s face if we had our 40,000+ customers in the US each send Ganz an e-mail?

We had no choice though, but to move onto other products like Kookeys, Ty Beanie Babies, Lego, Kapla, and Playmobil coming soon.
