Concerns and an Explanation about Webkinz

We have been selling Webkinz for two years both online and in our stores to over 40,000 happy customers. Due to the large quantities of Webkinz purchased by us directly from the manufacturer, Ganz had asked us for private information concerning some of our customers.
Our customer’s privacy is very important to us therefore, we refused to supply them with any of our customer’s information. They immediately discontinued all shipments to us early December. We believe that you have a right to keep your information private, and that we have the responsibility to see that it remains private. We regret this situation has occurred, however, we are not willing to compromise our customer’s privacy in order to continue business selling any Ganz products.
We will, however, stride to offer the latest in online plush and games. We now carry Kookeys, Shining Stars, TY Girlz, Ty Beanie Babies 2.0, Lego, Kapla Building Blocks and coming soon, Tracksters a fun and exciting interactive experience for all racing fans out there.

Why did you have to stop selling webkinz products. It really does stink now, I have to start buying them from the store again. Know I will get as many as I can to get over 60 webkinz/lil’ kinz.

Thank you for doing the right thing. They have no business getting your customer information. Webkinz interest will soon fade and there will be something else our children will want instead.

I am very sorry to hear that you no longer will be selling Webkinz as I am I loyal customer. I am very disappointed in Ganz accusing you of doing something dishonest. Thank you for not giving out our information it is appreciated.
I am shocked at what Ganz has done and will be calling their customer service tomorrow to complain about this. Anyone else who is interested, please call 1-800-724-5902 and make a complaint. My son has over 40 of these and we will no longer be buying anymore Webkinz at all. We will now be buying Rescue Pets and using www.myepets.com website for fun! Ganz does not place highly with me anymore and I have noticed the cost in the product rising as the popularity rose.
I am happy you stood up for us. You would think that Ganz would understand that you would not share our information, excpecially with all the privacy issue’s these days. Your store is wonderful and has had the BEST deals on Webkinz i have found on the web.When you treat customers good,and are great on pricing you have MANY returning customers. You would think Ganz would appreciate that kind of buisness for their name. Not accuse you of such horrible things. Keep up the good work, stay strong, and maybe one day Webkinz will realize they have hurt themselves more than anything.

Its not just the situation with us. Several other retailers across the US decided not to sign the affadavits. Therefore Ganz then chose to limit all new releases each month to only 3 cases (108) each month to any retailer.
Also they have chose to limit 3 cases of any webkinz or Lil Kinz (including old ones) to any retailer.
This unfortunately will push the price up of webkinz and Lil Kinz.
BTW..we now carry Lego and Buffalo Games Puzzles. We have also put in our first order for Playmobil which should be in soon.
Ty Beanie Babies 2.0 are in, New Kookeys and Shining Stars are in also.
I know for some of you it isn’t the same as buying Webkinz, but its the best we can do for now.

What a shame I loved buying my webkinz through you and bought quite a few. Sorry to hear such a terrible thing. I do still enjoy my webkinz, but I in no way spend what some may on them, so I will continue to buy a few here and there in the stores. You will not lose my business though, you do a fantastic job and i will just find other things to buy through you.
